this was probably the high point of our 10 days or so on the road – and a place few people have actually heard of, kanazawa. hiroshima and nagasaki worthwhile too, but fewer photo ops.
we missed the opportunity to enjoy some very bloody geschmeckt delicacies in nagasaki, though:
